So here she is ... Talulu in all her glory.. She refused to be a witch.. She demanded to be a gypsy.

I made all her clothes. She is really a sweet doll.. I just hope I can keep her happy so she doesn't get the wandering feeling.. I am thinking of making her a caravan.. I need to round up a horse or 2 also.. She wants a goat and some cats.. She has made her list and is currently checking and rechecking for things she needs to add.

I have a house that my Hitty's live in and she made an appearance there... I just hope she can become friends with them and not be looked down upon.. The Hitty's are a rather peaceful group.

Have a blessed day, Tina

Introducing... Talulu .. She is the 2nd clay doll I have made.. The first was an Elf named Ernie..

She is just a hair over 6" tall..

I was hoping for a little shorter person but she refused to be any shorter.. I am not too sure on her personality as of yet but she seems to be on the quieter side right now but who knows, that could change within a second.

I will be dressing her as soon as I can decide what colors I want to use..

I will post new photos' as we progress along.

Have a wonderful day!

I have been neglecting my blog for way to long. I am not so good at putting into words what I want to express. I think I will try to resurrect this blog and make it a place to share any and all of my miniature work.
I am at this time getting ready to read the book, "The Borrowers" with a group I am a member of.. We will make things as we read this and at the end we will have a miniature home with the Clock family as residents. I made the family a couple of nights ago and think I am going to enjoy this very much.

Here is the family, Pod, Homily and Arrietty.. Pod is 4 inches tall to give you an idea of their size.

Have a wonderful day and remember to take time to play, life is too short to waste it all on the boring things that real life hurls at us.

I thought I would jump in and let anyone who stumbles onto this blog I am still alive, just have to find the time to add things.
Maybe one day I will find the time to do all I want to accomplish.
Have a blest day.

Well here I am again...I know if anyone reads this and looks at the history of my postings they will probably lose interest... I am hopefully going to have a go at this one more time..
I have a pif to achieve.. And also, I want to get more active in the blogging of my interest and activities. I will be posting some pictures of things made by my own hands.
I am self taught in everything except crochet.. I can thank my dear grandma for that. She was a blessing to me as a child.
So without further ado.. I will go and get busy... I am already to give this my all.
Have a blessed day..

I have just gotten back in and everytime I have tried I couldn't get the account to recognize my password... Go Figure... I have never changed it from the beginning of it all. lol.. Anyways I hope I am back for good this time and I will have to really get busy to get things caught up.

With that out of the way I have found a new project.. To celebrate her first year of blogging Lynette Anderson has designed a mini stitchery wall hanging for anyone who would like to do so.
She will release a new block monthly, no specific date for the next year. It will be somewhere around 12x16 according to how you finish it up. So go on over and check it out. http://lynetteandersondesigns.typepad.com/
I have already done the first 2 and look forward to the rest.
Thanks for being so kind Lynette.
I will be uploading pictures as soon as I get them onto the pc.
Have a blessed day!
Hugs, Tina

I finally have been able to come back to blogger..lol.. It wouldn't let me in.. I tried and tried. Anyways. I see I have had a couple of comments and sorry it has been months but I had no control over getting in here..
Thanks if you should return and know that I am truly sorry.
As for the question... I don't have a embroidery machine.. I did the freestyle needlepainting by hand. I outlined the hummingbird and filled him in. I kinda followed the idea of the vine( hummingbird vine) and added the flowers after I was happy with the vine.
I hope now I can be allowed by google to log in and post and hopefully now I can comment on some of the blogs I visit... There are so many wonderful sites out there to see and still many more I am hoping to find.
Blessings and happy needling.

This Hummingbird is freehanded and needlepainted right out of my wee little brain...
I love needlepainting.. I am by no means a professional... I am teaching myself as I go...
I used muslin and DMC threads... This was done in a 4" hoop.
Have a great day!

The picture was the result of a challenge. I did this free hand for my future DIL... She collects frogs.

Saturday, October 21, 2006

Well, here it is Saturday morning and I have no idea still on what to add to my blog. I have read a few and they say to try to keep it on topic... Well stitching plays a big role in what I want to do daily, but then again the other parts of my life are held together by stitches, whether they are made of thread or some other substance... oh well I will continue on this journey and one day I will know what my stitching blog is all about.

Thursday, October 19, 2006

Well here it is a few days later and still I have no idea what to blog about. I have to be the most boring person on the net...
I promise to get this thing if it is the last thing I do... I so want to blog and I am making a promise to myself to put more effort into it... Maybe a good starting place would be a once a week thing... maybe Saturday mornings as I could have a little time that week to gather thing of importance to me..
So if by chance your wondering in ... come again soon and maybe you can share my happiness of learning and growing in another of my adventures in this thing called, *LIFE*
Happy Stitches to you!

Well it is another day to sit and think of what I haven't got done.
On another note, my daughther is moving a closer to me. I am so happy.
I am anxious to spend more time with my grandson Ethan.
He is adorable!
I am so enjoying being a grandma... Call me Naynah.
So not to bore anyone, I am going to finish up with Happy Stitches to you all.

This is my first time blogging and I hope to soon be able to blogg daily (or somewhere around daily) about the stitches that make up my life. So if you happen upon my spot, and you see nothing yet... Maybe soon I will be up and typing it all in... Stitches of happiness to you.
