No new news... I am just trying to keep my habits from keeping me away from blogging.. I am working on another carved wooden Bitty for a friend. He is slowly getting done.
I am also planning some activities with a travel doll who is visiting this week. I will be sure to post photo's as soon as any are taken and uploaded.
I have been looking around blogland and have seen some very talented work by others. I enjoy seeing all the things people have made. If only I would be a little disciplined I might be able to get more done.. RL keeps grabbing me and refusing to turn loose.
I am off now to see what I can get into too..

Just an update.. No new photo's, I have been so bad lately, not working on anything..
I have several things in the idea department, but they have yet to be started. I want to make a witch and her home, a fairy and her woodsy home and need to work on the Gypsy caravan and also Rock Bottom Hitty's home.. I have the house almost finished but have a little more to do on the outside.. Mostly they need the rest of their furnishings. I will get my groove back and get started again..
I have wandered around blog land the past few weeks and have seen quite a bit of talent out there.
I want to learn more on how to put links on the side of the page and maybe get a different layout for the blog here. I am not so quick to learn computer stuff.. Maybe if it were in a miniature layout, I would be able to gain that knowledge more quickly. Oh well good thing I have a teenage son who will help me get there..

Here is the latest photo of Talulu. I think she looks better with the vest instead of the shawl.. She will use the shawl in cooler weather. She has a new pet also.. She hasn't named him, but they seem inseparable. I am working on the plans for her home.. She wants a horse also. I will have to find that and the goat she has already requested... She is such a sweet charmer, I don't think I can say no.. What have I done?

I thought I would upload another of the Gypsy I made. She still needs something on her head such as a headscarf or some type of adornment... I also want to get her some gold jewelry.. She has a bangle bracelet on but it is silver wire and doesn't show up too well. I will continue to update her as she gets her complete outfit.

I thought you might like to see a few of the wooden dolls I have carved. The tallest is just over 4". They are known as Bitty's. The one on the left is for a swap I am in..She will be going to Texas tomorrow on the postal bus. She is anxious for the adventure and can't wait to meet her new family.Have a great day.

So here she is ... Talulu in all her glory.. She refused to be a witch.. She demanded to be a gypsy.

I made all her clothes. She is really a sweet doll.. I just hope I can keep her happy so she doesn't get the wandering feeling.. I am thinking of making her a caravan.. I need to round up a horse or 2 also.. She wants a goat and some cats.. She has made her list and is currently checking and rechecking for things she needs to add.

I have a house that my Hitty's live in and she made an appearance there... I just hope she can become friends with them and not be looked down upon.. The Hitty's are a rather peaceful group.

Introducing... Talulu .. She is the 2nd clay doll I have made.. The first was an Elf named Ernie..

She is just a hair over 6" tall..

I was hoping for a little shorter person but she refused to be any shorter.. I am not too sure on her personality as of yet but she seems to be on the quieter side right now but who knows, that could change within a second.

I will be dressing her as soon as I can decide what colors I want to use..

I will post new photos' as we progress along.
